I wanted to give everyone a status update to explain the brevity and lack of posts over the last few weeks. We have been very busy a usual with gun work and with the parts side of things. Thank you to all of you who have waited patiently to get guns back, and thank you to all our fans who have been purchasing the MCC Glock Mag Extension. We have been making them as fast as we can.
The main reason for the content slow down has been two fold. We are finalizing applications with the State of Tennessee to begin the Mossy Creek Training Academy so we can offer the TN handgun permit class. This is something we have been working on for the last month. Our waiting list for the class is getting bigger all the time, so we know that this is the right time to get the Academy started. One of the classes getting a lot of attention right now from our customers is the option to have a ladies only class. Be looking for more on the site in the next week or so. We are working up a promotional video.
Speaking of the site, we hope that next week we will have a new website up and running. In fact a nice lady who just became a permit holder has been working with us to direct the overall look of the site. Also, I can’t ever say enough about Bill at MicroExplosion. He is the best in Nashville at helping companies get their act together.
We wanted to offer a better look, but we also needed to step up the way we do our online business. The new site has an integrated shopping cart that will allow you to use credit cards to pay for any of our services. It will also allow us to track your orders and keep you informed of progress.
Thanks for your understanding of all these things. We will be back on schedule very soon. By the way, if you are a subscriber, you may have to subscribe again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Jeff,
Thanks for the status update and congratulations on not being able to post, as frequently as you would like, and being unable to turn firearms around, as quickly as you would like. This is a good thing! You’re growing.
The name of your web designer, “Micro Explosion”, made me realize that your story is a “Microcosm” of our economy. Your application to the state of Tennessee caused additional work for clerical staff and compliance officers. Your training enterprise requires instructors; students need to buy firearms and accessories. Parts manufacturing requires additional labor and supports material vendors. “Micro Explosion” must be working overtime to get the new web design, up and running.
If you had received “Stimulus Funds” you might have had to claim 5-6 jobs created or saved!
I like building a business your way; providing great personal service at a fair price. Congratualations again.
